During the last decade, rapid growth has been witnessed in our country’s construction sector. This growth has not only been in number of projects but also in their complexity and project sizes. Engineering consultants and architects are also being challenged by clients’ increasing demand for designs of modern buildings, industries and other constructions. As a result, engineering consultants and architects are paving the way for modern buildings that incorporate complex communication, security and ICT systems.
However, the introduction of these modern systems is creating pressure on the civil contractors whose core competencies lie on civil works. This gap calls for specialized contractors that could work together with civil contractors and clients and help them achieve higher value for money with minimum total cost of ownership. As is the trend internationally, these specialize contractors could play a paramount role in achieving maximum quality and an on time project completion which in turn reduces costs of projects for the client.
WALTAR was born to fill this gap. Founded by engineers who have specific and general experiences in the sector, WALTAR envisions being a competent contractor specializing in communications, security, ICT systems.
